How Do I Know If I am Healthy?
In the age of information overwhelm, it can be tricky to know when you need support, and when you're doing just fine.
Marketing is designed to convince us that how we look, feel or act is never enough and there is always a higher bar to reach for.
I see this play out in the retail store, when folks come in asking about nutritional products. They are convinced more is better and that they need to keep piling products on until they reach some unreachable state of perfection.
Now, let me clarify. If you are feeling unwell, even a little "off" - not like yourself - and you have been dismissed by other healthcare practitioners, I am not here to minimize or dismiss you. You deserve to feel great, even if your labs look "normal" and there is no disease to diagnose.

What hurts my heart to see is healthy folks, who generally feel well, searching for the latest & greatest product because marketing has convinced them they are not ok exactly as they are.
So, how do you know if you are actually healthy? Here are a few clues:
You generally wake feeling rested after 7-9 hours of sleep and feel ready to take on your day without the need for excessive amounts of caffeine or sugar.
You are able to eat a variety of food without chronic abdominal pain, excessive bloating or gas.
You are not constantly sick, or prone to catching every cold or flu going around.
This is not an exhaustive list but it is a place to start to gauge your basic wellness. If you are struggling in any of these areas, strategic use of natural products could help get your body back into balance.
